5 Must Play Superhero Games

And they say that a hero will save us...

There is a point in every child’s life when he wants to be a superhero as and when he grows up. Sure he may want to be a fireman or a policeman as well but deep down all he wants to do is unleash his powers on all evil to save humanity… or something like that. I never idolized any superhero while I was growing up but I always thought it would be cool if I could fly to school or jump from building to building. Now nearly 20 years later I still wish I could do all of that but sadly logic and rational thinking permit me from doing so; however thanks to the magnificent world of video games, all of us who bore such wishes can now fulfill them. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction I remember playing the very first Hulk game that was released after the movie and I was pretty impressed with all the chaos you could cause as the mean green killing machine but I kept getting irritated with all the Bruce Banner parts and kept thinking to myself "Wouldn’t it be cool if we never got to play as his alter ego?" And guess what, someone at Vivendi must have heard my cries since the next Hulk game (Ultimate Destruction) was in fact one of the best action games I’ve played on the PS2. Not only did you never get to play as Bruce banner but the game followed the "go anywhere do anything" AKA free roaming funda so you could run across building, climb walls and cause as much chaos and mayhem your heart desired. In addition to that, the game incorporated some crazy mechanics like weaponizing vehicles where you make boxing gloves out of cars, skateboards out of buses and more. |
