Here are the most affordable PS3 and Xbox 360 games on the block.

Last week we took a look at some of the cheaper PC and PS2 games in the market. Today we’ll scope out some PlayStation 3 and Xbox360 games that won’t put too much of a dent in your pocket. Now keep in mind these are steeper than the prices you’ve been seeing in the past few articles but these are the cheapest next gen games we could find on the block that were fun to play at the same time. PlayStation 3 Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction - Rs.1599 Insomniac Games' gadget-slinging duo - Ratchet and Clank - made waves on the PS3 with their action platformer two years ago. The tight platforming and the plethora of weapons only bolstered by the intermittent spurts of innovatively laid out puzzled, set the perfect pace for a game that would keep you glued for hours at a stretch. If you’re gonna pick up Tools of Destruction I suggest you even go in for Quest for Booty an expansion pack of sorts available for just Rs. 799. Motorstorm – Rs.1599 Motorstorm can simply be described as a break neck dirt track racer with pretty visuals. Separating it from the rest of the pack was insanely tough Artificial Intelligence that brought the most hardened racers to their knees. Resistance: Fall of Man – Rs.1599 The PS3’s very first high profile first person shooter, Resistance, put players in the boots of Sgt Nathan Hale and he strived to eradicate the Chimera virus from England in the year 1951. While it was nothing spectacular to begin with, it was a solid shooter backed by innovative weapons, sturdy controls and an enjoyable multiplayer component. Burnout Paradise – Rs.1599 It may not be as awesome as Revenge (oh yes I did) but Burnout Paradise is the most value for money racer out there. Value for money not only because of its price but because developer Criterion has been supporting this game for a while now with FREE downloadable content (DLC). |
