Stuck with an unnecessary amount of business cards? Here are some fun things to do with them.

Isn't is annoying when you’ve left one company and joined another and you end up with a bunch of your business cards that are just lying around? Worse still is when you’ve hardly used the ones you’ve got and the company sends you more for whatever reason. So now you’re stuck with a pile of useless business cards that you can’t really give anyone, except those you don’t want calling. While pondering this situation I came across a few very interesting things that you can do with these old cards. These will require certain finesse in craftsmanship though just so that you end up with a better looking version of the end product. It’s not just these ‘cut-outs’ can be made with any old business cards and maybe a few odds and ends in the form of tools like a scissor and glue, a couple of these are also quite practical. Take a look. iPod/iPhone Desktop Stand I’ve noticed a lot of friends and colleagues who happen to own iPhones or iPods complaining about the rear panel getting scratched because the handset has to be left lying around on the table. The Biz Card iPhone Stand is just what the doctor ordered. It’s extremely simple to make and requires nothing more than a pencil and ruler. Try to make sure that the card is of the stiffer variety as the thinner paper tends to buckle under the devices weight. The thicker the card paper, the sturdier the stand will be. The instructions are simple. After the cutting and folding the card in the designated areas you can just place your device on the stand and you’re good to go. The stand is also very useful to prop the handset up for when you want to just sit back and watch videos. Just hook the iPod/iPhone up to a set of speakers and you have a little mini personal theater set up. For a more detailed layout click here.
