Second semi-final!

Grudge Match Round 14: Kratos VS Duke Nukem

In the previous battle where Gordon Freeman and Sub-Zero were proving who would reach the final, Gordon Freeman battled it out right from the start, showing Sub-Zero that his ancient powers wouldn’t work in front of Freeman’s hi-tech, dead accurate weapons! Sub-Zero was down to the ground when Freeman zapped him into eternity… Thus Freeman after quite a bit of fighting rightly goes into the final!

In today’s match, it’s the battle of two favorites of the tournament… Duke Nukem has fought aliens and won semi-nude women, but Kratos has fought the gods and won himself honor! Sure Kratos has the blades of chaos, but Duke Nukem has survived space, so who do you think should win? Cast your vote to the most deserving fighter! Remember only one more week to go till the final, the winner of this battle shall face Gordon Freeman!

A small look-up at the character biography!

Kratos
  • Physical Traits: Tall, bald and ashen courtesy of the ashes of his family. Doesn’t believe in wearing anything except for a loin cloth. Houses a nasty scar across abdomen and face.
  • Weapon of Choice: Blades of Chaos
  • Badass Quotient: No last name. Also he kills Gods and all of Greek mythology. Has survived death multiple times.
  • Trademark: Loud booming voice. Serious Rage issues and hatred for any living thing.
  • Why he won Round 1: If the God of Gods, Olympus can’t stop this dude I really doubt a chainsaw wielding army grunt can. Kratos waltzed in there, stomped the crap of out Marcus Fenix and left him in a bloody, messy pulp on the floor.

Duke Nukem
  • Age: Unknown but word around the block is that he’s in his mid thirties.
  • Place of Birth: USA
  • Height: Unknown once again but if we were to guess we’d put him at around 6 and a half feet.
  • Physical Traits: He’s tough, he’s ripped and he loves his women. Clad in a red vest, blue jeans, black boots and dark glasses this is one cigar chomping SoB who’s single handedly repelled an alien invasion.
  • Weapon of Choice – Anything and everything he can lay his hands.
  • Badass Factor – He’s fought off an intergalactic race not because he’s a humanitarian but because they were going to take all our women away. And there’s nothing more badass than standing up for your women right?
  • Social Life: Strip shows are his kryptonite and that’s pretty much where he spends most of his free time.
  • Trademark: Love for women, hatred for aliens, constant one liners and vocal homage to Clint Eastwood make him the undoubted “king” of video games.
