Google Android’s ability to cater to all segments of society with a slew of high-end to affordable handset range in the Indian market is commendable.

Top 10 Android Games

Asphalt 6: Adrenaline - Rs.50.82
This adrenaline-pumping racing game clearly states, ‘Race the world. Feel the adrenaline.’  If you are a racing fan then this game is a must-have on your Android device. This arcade game has been designed for racing fans, to go zooming on their mobile handsets like never before, choosing from a vast range of cars and bikes including Ferrari and Lamborghini. Take the game online and race with your friends in the local multiplayer mode. The player will be driving against tough opponents in 11 different leagues and 55 events.

Osmos HD – Free, Rs.153.48
This game takes you to the Darwanian world with two gameplay modes - Odyssey and Arcade. The former brings a 27-level guided tour through the Osmos Blobiverse, while latter mode allows playing any level type at the user’s choice of difficulty (72 levels total). This is also a physics-based game, wherein you absorb smaller organisms to grow and stay away from larger predators as you may get absorbed. With stellar graphics and engaging gameplay, it dishes out awesomeness in all eight distinct level types. The demo version serves out very little, but you find the game engaging enough and the paid version has been made available with a plethora of features.

Dungeon Village – Rs.253.59
This simulation game from Kairosoft games, rather the best game from the developer so far, is a simulation, even with its not-so-good graphics. The game involves building the tiny fancy town and nurturing it. Interestingly, you aren’t a hero here, but the person in charge of the heroes. Now, that sounds fun and different. We found this RPG simply engaging, despite the fact that it leaves a spacious room for improvement and a steep price.

GTA III – Rs.256.13
‘Bringing to life the dark and seedy underworld of Liberty City,’ the Grand Theft Auto III brings its diverse open world on the Android mobile gaming platform. The ruthless and dark world of crime with stellar voice, darkly comic storyline and a good soundtrack mark the highlights of the game. It offers custom controls, engaging gaming, and a gameplay completely optimized for touch screens. Unfortunately, users would need to spend some moolah over this mobile game.

Doodle Jump – Rs.50.82
Jump your way across your mobile screens with this insanely addictive game. Users have to simply jump across using jet-packs, springs and more. As you go on the jumping spree, just avoid the bad boys and also blast off the baddies. After receiving accolades on the iOS platform, the game was released for Android. There is also the Doodle Jump Christmas season, both these versions are paid though.
