High End DSLRs

If photography is what you want to sink your feet into and if you have the budget to go with then these high end Digital SLRs should be on your wish list. They are mainly aimed towards professionals and shutter bugs looking for a certain level of perfection in photography. So here are a selected few high end DSLRs that are worth considering.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II – Rs. 2,17,995
A successor to the previous full-frame EOS 5D, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II personifies perfection in the world of DSLRs like no other. The camera boats of a 21 Megapixel CMOS sensor capable of capturing images at a max resolution of 5616 x 3744. Adding to its overall performance the EOS 5D Mark II features a new and faster DIGIC 4 image processor, an increased ISO setting up to 25,600 and full HD (1080p) recording capabilities. The camera features a slightly large 3-inch LCD screen but the biggest difference lies in its screen resolution which sums up to a whopping 920K pixels. Moreover the new viewfinder offers a good 98% coverage. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II is a brilliant piece of work and is one of the best performing DSLR cameras.

Nikon D300S – Rs. 94,950
The Nikon D300S is yet another DSLR worth considering. Compared to its predecessors the D300S is better at handling color, highlights and shadows. The camera comes equipped with a 12.3 megapixel sensor that is capable of recording HD videos at a max resolution of 720p. The D300S comes with an improved EXPEED sensor that has a continuous shooting speed of 7 frames per second. Moreover the camera not only comes with the standard CF slot but also features an additional SD/SDHC card slot. Besides the Nikon D300S comes with a well designed layout that makes it easy to navigate between various settings.

Canon EOS 7D – Rs. 1,45,995
Another camera to set your eyes on is the Canon EOS 7D. The camera features not one but two DIGIC 4 image processors that produce finer results along with enhanced color reproduction. The EOS 7D comes equipped with a massive 18 megapixel CMOS sensor that performs quite well at keeping overall noise at its bare minimum. Moreover the camera boasts of an impressive viewfinder that offers 100% coverage which makes it pretty much similar to the already mentioned Nikon D300S. In addition the EOS 7D offers full HD (1080p) video recording in 1920 x 1080 at variable speeds of 30/25/24 frames per second. The 19-point focus system provides a faster and accurate Auto Focus system. With an excellent set of features that Canon EOS 7D makes for an excellent DSLR camera for serious photographers.
