Tech 2.0's Favorite Movies

As geeky as we are made out to be, Tech 2.0's not only about the gadgets and gizmos. We do enjoy a good film every now and then, and considering that we're pretty much a guy dominated team, our favorites do tend to be... well, guy flicks.

Considering that it's weekend, we thought we'd give our readers a look at the movies we like. It's not one of those pretentious run-of-the-mill geek movie list. The best way to put it is —

We're a bunch of guys, and here are the movies we like.

Meet the Authors

A big fan of foreign language (non-english) films, we were surprised to see them as a minority in his list. Gagan's choice is a mixed platter of fantasy, action and comic book films, and clearly reflects on his love for films that get him all giggly on the inside... for whatever reason it may be.

Here are his picks.

Simplistic action flicks are his flavor. Intense plots, character development and emotional sequences are for chumps — this guy likes his movies short on the talk and heavy on the adrenaline, or as he puts it, "Afaad".

Here are his picks.

A comic book fanatic through and through, it's surprising to see that Shayne's top 10 list doesn't contain a single comic book film. Instead his choice in films show his love for the old-school, with minimal picks from the current decade.

Here are his picks.

While he does like those straightforward plots every now and then, his favorite films are the ones that offer him a joyride into the unknown. The more twisted a film is, the more likely he is to enjoy it.

Here are his picks.

We used to think that the only reason Sid watches a film is to get new benchmarks for his video tests, until he gave us his list of favorite movies. While he does love his eye-candy, Sid is also a big fan of the contemporary classics.

Here are his picks.
