Here are 5 Bluetooth A2DP enabled phones under Rs. 10,000.

5 A2DP Phones Under Rs. 10,000

In this day and age if you aren’t wire free in some way or form, you could pretty much consider yourself an ole fuddy-duddy. And hey, it’s not like the gadgets that support a wire free or even a bit of a wire-free existence are all that expensive these days. Take these cell phones for instance. In a previous article I mentioned a few phones with Bluetooth A2DP compatibility under the Rs. 15,000 range. Here are a few for those (like me) who can't afford a mobile phone in that range.

Sony Ericsson K550i – Rs. 8,500

The K550i is a member of the Cybershot series of Sony Ericsson’s cell phones, thus making it a formidable camera phone that’s equipped with a 2.0 megapixel, auto-focus camera with a flash. The display resolution may be a wee bit low, but that’s not a problem really, what may be a bit tricky using is the keypad, but nothing you can’t get used to. It also has everything else you’d probably require in a phone so it’s well stocked. The internal memory is just 64MB but it can be extended with an M2 card. The K550 also has an FM radio and supports EDGE. For other connectivity it even has infrared in addition to proprietary USB support for the PC, besides having Bluetooth with A2DP compatibility. But it’s a lightweight and relatively comfy to use phone.

Motorola SLVR L9 - 8500

The SLVR L9 is a sleek candy-bar designed phone that’s equipped with a 2 megapixel camera and also has an FM radio and voice recorder. Obviously, since it has Bluetooth and is also A2DP compatible, it has a music and video player as well. The L9 doesn’t have IR but who really uses that too much these days right? For data back up and transfer it has USB connectivity. For internet connectivity it supports EDGE. It comes with 20MB of internal memory but no worries; it can be extended using microSD cards.

Nokia 6233 – 8450
The 6233 is a rugged looking phone. It may look a bit bulky and maybe even heavy but it’s not really. It’s a great phone with a loud speakerphone and is also fully equipped for connectivity with IR and USB connectivity. It also supports EDGE. The 6233 is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera and the image quality is quite good. The music player is loud and clear as well. It also has an FM radio and voice recorder. With a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels it’s very clear as well. Since the internal memory is a bit low it does support external memory with microSD cards.

Samsung E840 – 10,000
This is one of the slimmest and sleekest slider phones available. It’s a fully equipped phone to boot with document viewers for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files, and a TV out. It supports EDGE and also has proprietary USB connectivity, and of course Bluetooth with A2DP. The SGH E840 also comes with an integrated FM radio, voice recorder and an MP3 player. It’s equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. The touch sensitive keys on the outside, although they do make the phone look really snazzy will take a little getting used to.

Spice S909 – 10,000
The S909 is also a slider, although it’s not a slim slider, the phone does have a rather small and comfortable to use design. It has a 2 megapixel camera and an FM radio that also allows you to record from the radio. It supports only GPRS though, but for other connectivity it has IR and USB connectivity as well as Bluetooth with A2DP of course. The S909 also has a music and video player that allows you to capture screen-shots of your favorite parts of any video.
