The new norm for selecting a smartphone or even one that’s not so ‘smart’, is the Social Networking (SN) prowess one can get from the device. Even though all of these devices may not come preloaded SN apps, those apps are still easily available. But the device still has to be well rounded enough for you to spend good money on, so with that in mind, here are a few handsets that are good options for the avid Social Networker. Nokia 5233 – Rs. 6,500 The Symbian OS is quite conducive to social networking. Most of the new Nokia devices are pre-equipped with native FB applications as well as connectivity to other networks like Hi5 and MySpace. Samsung’s TouchWiz UI is as it is quite handy with it’s widget system so you can access your SN apps right from the desktop without having to go through the menus. It’s one of the cheapest touchscreen devices on the market that carries a heavy branding.
