Touchscreen Phones Under Rs. 12,000

Since touchscreen is very ‘in’ right now, I’ve been asked quite frequently by quite a few of our readers what are some of the best handset choices in the category. While there are quite a few low budget touchscreen devices in the market now, here are my recommended choices for those with a budget of Rs. 12,000.

Budget Android
The Android segment is finally getting to be quite affordable. Here are a few of the choices in this OS’ segment.

It features Samsung’s DNSe audio enhancement technology with a 5.1 Surround Sound setting coupled with DivX and XviD video support for .AVI files. The 667 MHz processor is designed to make navigating menus and accessing apps a quick and painless procedure. Samsung has incorporated their TouchWiz 3.0 UI onto the Galaxy 3 which is well laid out and user friendly with a Swype keypad thrown in for speedy messaging.

It also features -
a 3.2-inch touchscreen sporting a 240 x 400 pixel resolution
