Finding the right in-game resolution that’s native to your monitor (which many games might not support), finding the perfect settings to make sure that your frame-rate doesn’t dive (making your games look like a slide-show), are just a few of the gazillion hurdles you encounter. Using a wide-screen monitor for gaming can make you tear your hair out, so you’d wonder, why opt for it?
