PC gaming can be a real pain in the butt at times; there’s nothing more frustrating when a game gets messed up at the zenith of its experience – makes you wanna pound your head on your keyboard, doesn’t it? Anyone who’s been a PC gamer for long enough has probably come across these issues at some point of time or another; a few of whom have pretty much given up on PC games and gone all out for console gaming. Don’t lose heart yet, although PC gaming can be pissing off at times, it has its rewards which more than make up for the pain and misery. In an effort to ensure that you don’t encounter any of the following hurdles, I’ve come up with a guide of sorts to help you deal with them as and when they occur. Here goes nothing… Generic Host Process for Win32 Services Error The error message is as follows – 'Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.' Sorry for the 'inconvenience' … ?! This error isn’t just an 'inconvenience'; it’s what you may call the manifestation of grief. It can (and usually does) happen in almost each and every online gaming session that follows, severely ruining the experience and making you wanna end your life (ending your life won’t fix it though; trust me, I’ve tried). Check your net connection after this error occurs; if it doesn’t work (even if the icon appears), your netapi.dll/netapi32.dll is screwing you over. If you investigate further by checking into the error report, you’ll come across another culprit – your svchost.exe |
