While we’ve seen mobile phones and gaming characters battle it out in grudge matches, it's time to bring in another portable gadget. Now you can do your PMP a favor and vote for it, and in case you haven’t used any one of them, you can still check the specs and put in your vote. In the process you can judge the best product, and as per your needs, you can save up and buy it for Christmas! Today, we bring in three high-end portable media players. The iPod Touch, the Cowon S9 and the Philips GoGear Muse . I would like to start off with the GoGear Muse, as it might set many minds wondering how it can stand to compare with the other two? The reason is that while it might not be high on features, its USP lies in its price range, which in comparison to the other two is quite less. It has a sleek and smart design also and over everything else, is touchscreen. Who wins the PMP war? Coming to the S9, which looks like the best bet to topple the iPod touch comes with equally good features and a little more. It doesn’t have Wi-Fi and you won’t get good games that the iPod touch offers but it has Bluetooth connectivity and can be paired with Bluetooth-enabled headphones. If that doesn’t sound interesting, it definitely has the best sound out there, something of prime importance. Apple’s iPod Touch stands pretty at the top, simply because it has features that set a benchmark for PMPs. It’s got Wi-Fi, and the App store, a camera for pics and video, all in all it’s a storehouse of entertainment. However, it still costs a bomb, doesn’t have Cowon-like sound quality and needs iTunes for transferring music and videos.
