First Impressions: Nokia Lumia 520
| by Roydon Cerejo
Nokia’s high-end Lumia range, which consists of the 920 and the 820, don’t appear to be selling as well as the company hoped. Despite the deep-rooted heritage Nokia has in India, the average joe wants more from their high-end phone other than just a brand name. When it comes to handsets above Rs 25,000, the performance across OS platforms is more or less the same but it’s only when you start climbing down the price range, can you start to tell the difference. Android can be quite a painful experience in the sub-Rs.10,000 price bracket but Windows Phone 8 does not suffer the same fate. The user experience is more or less consistent throughout the price range, a feat no one has achieved till date. Nokia is leveraging that power of WP8 through the newly-launched Lumia 520, targeted at the youth.

You can't tell from this pic but the Lumia 620's (left) display is better in terms of colours
