Top 10 Android tablets 2012

Samsung Galaxy Tab 620 – Rs. 25,900
This member of the Samsung’s Galaxy tablet clan sits right on our list with its more streamlined and curvy design compared to the Tab 750 and Tab 730. This usual 7-inch tablet is slim at 9.9m and lightweight at 345 grams. Adopting Google Android’s Honeycomb version, Samsung adds a touch of its TouchWiz UI. The spec sheet is pretty neat at 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory, while it supports voice calls over GSM network. Flipkart is selling the Pure white model for Rs. 25,900.

Asus Eee Pad Slider SL101 – Rs. 39,000
This is yet another touch-keyboard combo tablet from Asus. It acts as the best replacement for the netbook, maintaining the essence of a keyboard and touch functionality of a tablet. At 0.9 kgs, this honeycomb driven tablet is powered by a 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra2 and 16Gb built-in memory.  Performance wise it takes to the top 10 list of android tablets available. So, if you are ready to spend the kind of money, it fits the

iBerry Auxus AX02- Rs.9,990

This is the most recent, sub-10K tablet that runs on the latest version of the Android operating system – Android 4.0.3 popularly known as the Ice Cream Sandwich. It comes with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, and a solid build quality, good battery life and a slick UI. It comes across as one of the best tablets in the price range. It can handle 1080p videos and comes loaded with 4GB memory. This iBerry is fuelled by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and 1GB RAM. For the price and feature sheet it has, the device is worth buying.

Ainol Novo 7 Paladin – Rs. 7990
This is an amazingly portable tablet, and Tech2's value for money device. Its quite well designed for the price tag it carries. It runs on a relatively unknown 1GHz single core, MIPS-based XBurst CPU with a Vivante GC860 GPU and has 8GB of internal memory to load your favourite files. Though it doesn’t allow downloading quite a number of applications, the Ainol Novo 7 Paladin lets you handle this bit with the Magic Code. The battery life is good and the performance is fine as well, for the price tag attached to it.
