Hi rishabh170, both the televisions you have mentioned are have really good features. The similarities between them are that they are full HD televisions and both use Edge LED backlighting so they would be quite slim. If you would want 3D playback such as the ability to convert your standard 2D content into 3D, then the LG 42LW4500 would be a good choice as LG offers the best 3D experience due to their passive glasses. With the LG one can also playback portable hard drives instead of USB flash drives. On the other hand, the higher end Sony televisions such as the one's you have mentioned offer really good picture quality and with a few setting adjustments, the viewing experience will be great. But Sony does have a tendency to not allow the playback of NTFS drives and if you like to plug in your hard drive to watch videos, then the LG would be a better option as opposed to the Sony.

    Thanks A_qUbe for your reply.

I will probably go with the Sony model as it suits my requirements well, besides being cheaper of the two. It also has Sony reliability and superior brand status I think..

Maybe your viewing distance is limited, because if you're ready to move your budget a bit up then you may get models in the 40-inch segment, too. Do let us know why you've come to decide upon a 32-incher, and we may be able to suggest more models depending on your type of viewing.
