    Please suggest new headphones!

As it says in the thread. I need new headphones. I am not an audiophile but I would prefer highly valued brands for a change instead of Phillips and Panasonic that I have already used.
    My Requirements
    1) Should NOT be in-ear or iPod style ear plugs. Shouldn't be conspicuous, so big hefty around-the-ear ones are not preferred.
    2) Budget is not an issue but should be Value-For-Money. and preferably kept <2k rs
    3) Build quality should be sturdy, shouldn't get loose contacts due to the moderate handling during travel.
    4) Suggest brands from reputed online portals like Flipkart or Snapdeal because that's where I am going to end up buying them and not anywhere outside.

I cant say much about the sound quality except for the fact that I like deep bass. and the sound shouldn't crack at any volume. (Considering I am aiming for good brands, that shouldn't happen)

Currently I have my eyes set on the JBL AKG K403. Please post your comments. Thank you.

    Re: Please suggest new headphones!

Take a look at the Sennheiser PX90 ( relaxed and smooth ) , JBL Tempo ( Eager and Attacking) a cheaper worthy option with Brand value is Audio Technica ATH SJ 33 / Audio-Technica ATH-ON303 / Audio Technica M20 the RE 70 to is great and if you are on the bassy side and can sacrifice a bit of detail then take a look at the Denon AH - D310, its non fussy too with lesser recordings since it dosnt look deep and these days its more a boon than a bane!!!

EDIT : I gave you the names which you should consider before taking the plunge, since I dont know what kinda a music you listen to, and what kinda sound signature you prefer I covered brands with laidback to attacking and warm. Research Google Listen and then, do buy.
