The process works by rendering the game on a server machine (notably using AMD's new GPU no less), and the frames are grabbed by OTOY's server-side software. The frames are then compressed and delivered over the network to the client. The client software thus decompresses the frames and displays them in a window. User input is then sent back to the server over UDP.

How long huh?? You cannot do anything about capcom games, they never reduce and even if they do that will be too late to play the game. For example, RE4 was released in year 2007 for the price 999/- and recently reduced to 299/- similar case with DMC4.

Kotor II story is completely different from K1. Some occasional references to events in the first game, but for the most part they totally differ in story & tone.

~Spoilers, so edited~ They could've named the game something else. I mean, why the heck name it a sequel when there are just some vague references to the previous games. It's like the sequel to Golmaal, where only the actors return, but not the characters.

But the good news is that the story will finally be revealed in the new MMORPG from Bioware, based on the Knights of the Old Republic. Too bad, it's an online game. I prefer off-line, but this just might be my first foray into the on-line game (depending on the price and reqs, which seems to be any decent rig, like WoW) :!: But I sure hope that Bioware releases a KOTOR III to clean up the bad-taste-in-the-mouth left by Obsidian.

Wii dropping to $200 Sept. 27

Last week, we got a peek at an alleged upcoming Walmart ad that indicated an official price drop would be coming to the Wii. Today, it appears that retailer Toys R Us may have heard the same thing.

While the Walmart listing we saw didn't put a price tag on the Wii—currently still at its launch price of $249 USD—the Toys R Us version does, pegging the new MSRP at $199. And that's with Wii Sports included, not a stripped down package. The ad is purportedly from the end of September, due to hit the week of the 27th according to the tipster that forwarded a shot our way.

That's a week earlier than we were expecting based on the Walmart tip we received, but still not official in any capacity.

If accurate, that would mean a price drop announcement from Nintendo sometime within the next two weeks, possibly during the Tokyo Game Show. Nintendo won't be exhibiting officially at the yearly game show, but will be present at the Kyoto Cross Media Experience 2009.

We contacted Nintendo to get clarification, but were told "Nintendo does not comment on rumors and speculation." And they don't comment on blurry shots of Toys R Us circulars either!
