Got STALKER: Clear Sky yesterday. I must say its fantastic game. Everything I wanted from Fallout 3 is in this game. Superb atmosphere, great guns, coupled with fantastic AI and weather effects makes this game one of my best buys. Now waiting for Shadow of Chernobyl delivery.

Thats because some of the main guys who did Diablo were involved,
Diablo composer and sound designer Matt Uelmen for one.
and someguy who was the codesiner of Diablo and Diablo 2

    Re: Games Discussion Thread

I'm a bit late, my home internet got messed up.

Anyways, my ME desicions (***Spoilers ahead***):

Saved Rachni, convinced Wrex (I feel kinda sympathatic to him), saved the council, let Kaidan go off, hooked up with Liara. My second last decision is because of the last desicion. I wanted to keep Ashley close, just in case I get her in ME2  As for the other decisons, I like to play a goody two-shoe atleast on my first try, anyway will try the Bad-Boy style in my 3rd playthrough. Or should I make it a Bad-Girl :?:  One thing that I is tiresome in the second playthrough is the huge amount of equipment. You cross way over the 150 limit. I had to reduce them to gel, in order accomodate the new Level IX and X equipments. I have about 300+ omni-gel.

Anyway, now I'm busy with my second playthrough, and unlocked the Spectre Level X weapons. Man are they awesome :!: And with the proper mods, you can keep your trigger pressed althrough the game. But they cost a lot. Another quirk that I realised about the gameplay mechanic, is about the omni-gel. No matter what you reduce, it's always 4 omni-gel for every item, even a huge Krogan Heavy Armor. Now that's a bit unrealistic. It would've been nice if it was in accordance to the item, like the price.

Hope they improve in ME2, specially the dialougue system so we can vary the conversation instead of groping like blind men in the paragon(top)-Neutral(middle)-renegade(bottom) wheel. Though I hear there are plans to make the conversation more interactive, like interrupting, which was actually a feature from the ME. In short ME2 can be what ME1 was originally supposed to be. Can't wait for it to reach the Indian shores. Hope it is available at the Kolkata Book Fair.
    ^ Hope this helped. :D

Heard Shadow of Chernobyl to be buggy and not much fixes/support from the developer.
Have played Clear Sky. Was bored to death walking around in the swamps ;-)

I ended up making same choices, but lost my saved files in the end.
But I don't have time to play it all over again, I hope the Bioware has implemented some mechanism to carry over the decisions made in first game to second one without the saved files!

If you do not have the save files, there is no mechanism but at the begining of ME 2, few important decisive questions abt ME will be asked & those decisions will be taken into consideration.

I am glad to hear that, that's all I wanted to see!
