Help me choose the laptop!

Heya geek! Can an Asus k53sv with intel i7 Huron river, 8GB ddr3 ram, nvidia GeForce 630m and 1tb hdd a good gaming option? It's only 53k without an os. Can It play say crisis core or most of the games of 2012? It has no SLI tho CUDA Optimus n other nvidia features are in it. How is this i7 anyway in the intel site they say this 8MB cache CPU can handle gaming alone is it true?
