^No idea, not a G+ user
So new Macbook Pro comes with Retina Display (2880x1800, yikes!!) and costs only Rs.1.3 lac
^so how much, you think, will be difference in browsing, watching video and pictures on such resolution and fullhd???
^ Unless there is content for it, it really doesn't matter. But given it's Apple, they'll line up all their product with Retina Display. So unless you are going to use mostly Apple products and softwares, IMO, it doesn't really make any sense getting on that resolution. A normal HD screen should suffice.
Well said. It's just the retina display.
I wonder if all the games will run at the resolution ( No I don't know much about games or hardware)

Nope but you can try.The 650 may just edge it at max resolution and everything set to low.
A quote from the verge's review of the macbook pro(2012)
As u can see the pro isn't meant for gaming(at max res) which includes BF3,Crysis 2,Witcher 2 and the upcoming AAA titles. What it will run though are the very high quality indie games/diablo III/Portal 2/RTSs. If you want a machine to game get a PC. If you need gaming with portability consider saving some money ;).But that isn’t all that matters with gaming performance. At full resolution and maxed out settings (shadows, physics, etc.), we jumped between 15 and 20 frames per second — just barely playable at most times, but on higher difficulties that’ll prove aggravating. If you want to keep all the settings on max, jumping down to 1680 x 1050 (same as standard MacBook Pro) gave us a consistent 30FPS and is still very playable. But let’s be honest, if you’re buying this laptop, you’re wanting to push the upper limit of resolution more than anything.
As for the more slow-paced Civilization V, if you can read the small-but-very-legible text, playing max resolution is great. On the other end of the spectrum, the twitch-puzzle-shooter Portal 2 recommended a much smaller 1280 x 800 resolution for smooth 60FPS — but so long as we didn’t try to tweak the Advanced Video effects (which all but grinds the game to a halt), with 2880 x 1800 the game would still be consistently in the 50FPS range with only the occasional minor stutters. And Blizzard’s other tentpole series, StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty, clocks in at around 23FPS with full resolution and "extreme" settings — it drops during big battles, though. You can hit 60FPS by either dropping settings to "low" (keeping full resolution) or by dropping resolution to 1680 x 1050 (keeping "extreme" settings).
Who in the right mind would get the new MBP for gaming!
Anyway I won't even consider so called Gaming laptops when it comes to gaming! You want to game, then get yourself a desktop!
