how to bypass firewall in a LAN to download--possible ???

hey all the tech champs here is 1 ques for u all...in LAN if the firewall blocks downloading , is it possible to download by bypassing the fire wall??

hi ..u have to enable the neighbourhood networks in the settings of the software...and has to specify the ethernet card that u have want to bypassu may get this option in the preferances..do the same work in other pc if u have install the firewall software on them ..

If you are talking about Corporate LAN.Downloading is generally blocked by a URL Filter rather than a Firewall. If you want to by pass the URL Filter It depends on How Clever you URL Filter is. It is very difficlut to cheat leaders like Websense . How ever you can try some proxy websites as

http://www.proxify.com

---hey hey u think one can download with proxy...when the proxy tries to start the download, it will be blocked...so sadly this option is not in the reckonin--have u never tried to download USING A PROXY?? it is not possible if the orig source is blocked...


and getting around URL filters not easy so,, :-(
