    Site Not Loading Properly

    Hello everyone,

I have a website. It's hosted in the free services of x10 hosting. My domain bought from GoDaddy. I use WP + Graphene theme. I went live with my website on 23rd March, 2012. And in a span of 2 weeks, I've got many complaints from visitors that my site doesn't load properly at times. It shows "Connection has timed out", "Connection has been reset", "Problem Loading Page", etc. Not only Indian visitors, but few from US, UK, Singapore, also said the same. This is indirectly affecting things as many of them are not visiting back thinking the site is down.

My uncle has 1and1 premium, while some of them are asking me to go with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud thing, I am confused on what to do. My parents wont give me 500 a month for premium hosting now. I am not using AdSense to earn bucks either.

Also, if I migrate to some other hosting services, all the LIKES, TWEETS, +1's I got, will I lose them? How do I keep them intact and still migrate to a better hosting service? Or stay in free x10 service but make my site load faster.

Please help me out with this mess. My website link www.wordsofwacko.com

    Thank you.

Well now you know why I say don't go for free hosts. Migrating to different host won't result in loss of the likes tweets etc. They're stored on the respective services' servers.

Amazon EC2 will be overkill for you. Rs 500 pm for hosting? Start off with something like Expertrio. I've been on their Budget One ( http://expertrio.com/budget-hosting/plans/ )plan for past 5 years. It'll be more than enough.

Seems to be good by checking out the hosting plan. What is that space and bandwidth? I mean the difference, which would be suitable for me?

And if my uncle agrees to share his 1and1 account with me, which one to go for expertio or 1and1 unlimited one?

Free hosting is not an option for responsible sites, they sucks.
If you uncle has 1and1 account, go host there. It would be almost free for you.
And save those Rs. 500 for future deal.
I have been using bigrock and they have severed me much better as low prices

The cheapest plan should be enough.

Yeah, my uncle said he will think about sharing his account with me.

As of now, I got to face some weird problems.

When I go to my site, I get this error like "Error establishing a database connection" , only I have the access to my DB, no one else, and I haven't changed anything for a while either. It worked fine even today morning. I went out and came and got to see that annoying crap. I just logged into my x10 account to check if things were intact, especially the wp-config file (though I haven't touched the file since setting it up) and it said

    "Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition."

Seriously? I am not able to do anything to my site now, nor access anything. It has been down for about half an hour now.

Raise a support ticket with x10. There's nothing we can do.

When I am trying to raise a ticket, it redirects me to my cpanel and gives me the same error.

I posted a thread in the forum an hour back, still awaiting reply.

better get the back up and move to premium hosting. I am using expertrio also and quite satisfied. They are cheap too. If you're planning to use only single domain, also check bigrock's hosting plan. And you won' t lose all those likes and tweets as far as you don't change your domain.
