I had posted couple of posts earlier asking about Huawei U8180 Ideos X1 Gaga. I received the phone and it's excellent. Unfortunately, it's locked to an overseas carrier and has to be returned and exchanged for a HTC Wildfire S. I played with the Huawei for a week, without sim and on wifi. I give it high marks. Build quality is good and Internet experience was excellent. And it got everything at 4.5K that you find in more expensive phones. Mail, Maps, gps, youtube, angry birds, android marketplace, camera, music, everything was to my satisfaction. I feel bad giving it up.

Now I'm going to have to shell out more for the HTC Wildfire S. Is that a good phone? Does it have good out of box experience?

Hi I'm planning to buy an android phone. Max budget is 10k.
I think the best is LG Optimus Net. Some say it can also be upgraded to android 4.0(ice cream sandwich). The only small drawback is it does not have flash.

Are there any other phone with a better spec within my budget. My use will be mostly playing with the android apps and lots of messaging and gmail stuff. I dont use any social networking(like facebook twiter etc).

After seeing motorola defy+ I'm planning to go for it since it has 5MP camera with flash and 1GHz cortex-A8 processor which is much better than arm 11. So now my budget is extended to 15k. Any other suggestions welcome.

Want to buy a new mobile.
I have an existing SE K530i and I am a big fan of SE.
    Max Budget : Rs.15000/-
Recommend major brands(SE,Samsung,Nokia,HTC,LG) and recommendations based on announcements made in the Mobile World Conference also welcome. I am ready to wait if there's a better, more powerful product coming soon.

HTC Explorer edges over the Optimus net IMO. Better overall phone
