xperia neo, xperia u or htc one v???

Hey guys a 17-year old guy here, about to start for college and VERY confused about choice of phones. My budget is 13 to 17k. I would be buying my new cellphone form ebay.in as phones go really low in prices there.
I have 3 really good phones in mind-
xperia neo (with the 8-mp snapper)
Xperia u
htc primo one v
My foremost priority is the camera, its interface, shot capture quality and image aspect ratio. My second most pressing concern is about the music player. Both the xperias have great sound playback quality but the htc has beats audio enhancement, which for me, is better. I listen to loads of music across almost all genres and i want crystal clear playback. My third priority is the android interface- i dont know which phone's ICS upgrade would be better. I want smooth and virtually no lag while multi-tasking. I think i deserve it, after suffering from my present LG cookie's interface for more than 2 years.
And each phone has one unique feature- the neo has hdmi output, the xperia u has that cool transparent strip at the bottom, and the one v has beats audio. Please rate these features according to their actual usefulness and practicality (btw i have no hdmi supporting tv). My friend has a nokia N8, and i want my phone to one-up his phone.
I want to be able to video chat using skype or google talk. I dislike the neo's limited internal storage, xperia u's brick-like body design, and the one v's 'curved chin' design and absence of a secondary camera. My brand preference is sony, as the have got great range of accessories for the phones, like the NFC tags, the docking station and the smart watch. Viewing at-least 720 p videos smoothly is a priority, as i've got dozens of such music videos.
I hope that the above information helps and you will suggest the best phone among the three for me. I would be taking your suggestions very seriously.
P.S. Should i wait for the xperia P? its an ideal phone for me, and maybe within 15 days of its launch (on may 25th) it'll feature on ebay with discounts.

If you are having issues to choose a phone,start with finding cons in everything then compare.
If you want to save money then Neo V still holds good.(This is my suggestion)

Xperia U has only 4GB user memory AFAIK and no MicroSD slot ,I don't think a media junkie like you will fit your music+pictures in 4GB.
Then there is One V- I think Neo V has everything this phone has at a lower price.
Neo V got ICS update, but you have to update it yourself while One V comes with ICS.

Yo, good to see another 'slayer' around, especially one of my age.
I meant the neo, not the neo v. The neo came before neo v, with an 8mp camera. Sony ericsson discontinued its production and started marketing neo v instead. Ya you're right, the neo/neo v is a great phone, but i wanted to see if i should wait for the xperia p as i think i can probably convince moms to stretch the budget a bit ;)
Yes, the U's memory is a lot on the low side for me. Sometimes sony makes you believe its a company full of geniuses (look at xperia sola's floating touch), and the next moment you think it's full of idiots (they didnt throw in a front cam in the arc s).
Thanks for letting me know that beats audio can be had on any phone by rooting. Is there a vid or something that i can check out to learn how to do that?

Xperia P will cost around 23-24k minimum. Can you stretch your budget that much?
The ebay deal posted by Dragonslayer is amazing if they are providing 1 year "Manufacturer" warranty and not "Dealer" warranty.

As far as getting Original Neo goes, I don't think it was ever launched in India.
So even if you manage to get it from somewhere you won't get any warranty.

So would recommend you to get Neo V if you can't go for Xperia P.

Its only Neo V I am afraid.You can increase your budget and try for lets say Motorola Atrix 2 .Also check out Xperia Pro and Xperia Ray. All these phones have 8 MP camera .
I am not sure of ICS update for Xperia Pro

You see, mommy dearest has agreed to get me the xperia p! In india it comes bundled with 2 nfc tags too, unlike elsewhere in the world! Im getting it off ebay at 24k, around my birthday (which is on 2nd june). I know you're not gonna be reading this ever, but you're the best ma!
But sadly the P doesnt come with a micro hdmi cable or a usb-on-the-go cable. Would've like that very much.

Yeah it's got the Sony India warranty, checked that out the first thing after you mentioned it.
Saw a vid of ICS on the xperia S yesterday and it looked sensational. Would eagerly await the ICS update for the P once i get it. If it's anything like that in the S it'd be awesome.

Hey guys a quick update- I bought the xperia p on ebay today and i requested the dealer for the black coloured handset. I dont like silver as its too boring and red is too flashy and the aluminium body wont look good in red. Black is sexy and i know it will accentuate the premium feel of the metallic body.
The dealer (bberry stores) is listing the lowest price of the P as of now and has 100% positive feedback. He dispatched the phone this evening.
