Reminds me of a memo sent by the US Postal Department to all its employees

Now that is Sh1t ! The site itself is overflowing with it...
I agree with him somewhere. There are just a handful of sites which provide useful information like Wikipedia. These sites are so little that you can count them on your fingers.
Let's see what the Internet is advertised as, and what we get.
1. Unlimited amount of information
6 hours of searching for my computer project, and nothing extraordinary has turned up (yet).
When I complain, people say I don't know how to look. They're so wrong. I can tell them search tips and tricks even THEY don't know (and these are NOT limited to Google).
2. Connect to people on the other side of the globe
I can call my relatives up through the net. I can talk to them. That's great.
Why would I want to talk to somebody I don't KNOW? What's the use? The chances are that I won't get much out of them except "OMG! dude, u rockzzz, lol". If I want to talk to somebody who can actually HELP me or share knowledge or be a friend, then I need to MEET THE FSKING PERSON.
Oh, and what about MySpace? I hope everyone knows what goes on THERE....
3. Find dates
Don't pretend that you don't know about AdultFriendFinder.
4. Shopping
In addition to paying extra (if the prices on the net are LESS than the prices in your city then the chances are you're living in a village) for a product, you also end up getting a defective product or getting your credit card information stolen.
5. Music and Movies
I've never watched a streaming movie, the online radio has absolutely no scope and downloading this stuff is illegal. We're safe NOW but for how long?
Anyways, the above is just a rant. I love the net and can't live an hour without it. I was just trying to say that we're not really getting what we're promised, and on top of that we're losing our lives and destroying our health.
Go read a book, for Pete's sake.
I am using motherboard having 24 pin power connector & PCI-e Solt but without graphic card.
2 months before my PSU starts malfunctioning so i replaced it with my older PSU which is 7 Year old & has only 20 pin power connector (I heard somewhere that additional 4pin are used for pci-e gfx card) , & now pc is working fine.
I just want know that is this safe ? or it will damage my motherboard, i am going to install new gfx card & PSU next week.
Not sure about the 20-24 pin difference but better to get that new PSU ASAP buddy.

You are replacing a 24 pin PSU with an older 20 pin PSU while your current mobo needs 24 pin power right ?. It's not a good practice. It'll work. But the mobo will be under stress and chances of it's life going down also is there. Invest on a new PSU.
Pentium 4 [478] and mid/late Athlon XP & Athlon 64: If you have any of these processors , it's k you can use it but not for too long especially if you plan to add more add on cards.

Props
I am going to replace my older power supply in next week with CORESAIR VX450W & EVGA 9600GT gfx card.Originally Posted by HillRider
