Restore missing Time Zones in Windows XP

When you open the Date and Time Properties and click the Time Zone tab, it shows only one Time Zone entry in the drop down (example: Time zone in India, GMT +05:30 Chennai, Calcutta, Mumbai, New Delhi). Also the map below shows only the India map instead of the entire World map. This does not let the user change his Time Zone.

This happens due to missing registry keys which contain the Time Zone information for different parts of the World.

    Resolution

    * From another Windows XP system, open Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
    * Export the following key to a REG file:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Time Zones

    * Close Regedit.exe
    * Copy the REG file to the subject computer, and double-click it to merge the contents.

Hey our sir has given us a project on build a transmitter/receiver with following erq:

"Build an electronic system with a wireless FM transmitter-receiver which can
establish its own identity as well as detect other such systems within its range. The
system should be able to establish its identity by transmitting a binary code (ID)
continuously. The system should be able to detect such other systems within its
range by receiving the binary code (ID) of other systems.

When the binary code (ID) of a new system is received, the system should store the
code in its memory (look up table). Whenever another system whose binary code
(ID) is present in the memory (look up table) is detected, the system should generate
a beep and display the binary code (ID). A suitable frequency can be chosen. A
suitable binary code (any length) can be chosen as an ID."

No idea, buddy. But google'ing it might help. I doubt anything good will be in the first page. Keep looking.
While you are at it you could also search for "science projects".

I remember seeing such a thing at http://www.scitoys.com
    /
    look for computer controlled transmitter/receiver.
