All Fans are noisy. Even if you buy something like CoolerMaster Hyper212+, the stock Coolermaster BladeMaster 120mm Fan given is noisy at full 2000RPM.

I'm using SpeedFan to reduce it to 800RPM at idle (stays at 35c Core/37c TCase Idle @ 3.83 GHz OC [Max 56c Core/58c TCase when running IBT/Prime95]).. It dynamically increases in "5%" steps as temps increase.. Works better than the default motherboard "Dynamic Fan/Q-Fan/etc".

If you don't OC, then probably Cooler Master Hyper TX3 will do..

Both are HDT Coolers. [Heat-pipe direct touch.. i.e. the Heat Pipes directly touch the CPU]

Hyper 212+ has 4 heat pipes and Hyper TX3 uses 3 heat pipes.. According the reviews, TX3 only has a "little bit" improvement over Stock HSF, but Hyper212 is pretty good!


Considering it's a HDT cooler, you have to follow a different method to apply the TIM. Read this.
