Dude, they are dealers. They are not *supposed* to know the tech behind the cards. They are supposed to stock certain products and sell it to customers who come asking for them. Done. Finito.

Yes, these guys can outright tell lies or rip you off if you are not careful, but have more realistic expectations next time.

Same thing with me, I called my engineer to ask him for a new GPU.
    He asked how much I wanted...gave me the following options : 64MB, 128MB or 256MB !
I told him I wanted 512MB, he said he had one in stock, an 'NBeedia' card, which is 2.8k and that was a 8400GS !
I then had to tell the poor guy to get me a HD 4670 (512MB) but he bought 1GB for Rs.700 extra, saying "beta 1GB to acha perform karega" even though the '1GB' had a slower clock.
Overall, Engineers and shopkeepers are stupid creatures, they just don't know a damn thing about such stuff, just want to clear their stock.

New nVidia GPU that supports DX 11.

I was wondering whether there is any new GPU from nVidia that supports DX 11 and will it give a though fight to the current Ati 5-Series?

    It's named this ways.
The GT2xx series first, then GT4xx.
There was no GT1xx, so no GT3xx, get the logic ?

    Really ?
I heard about the GT1xx and GT3xx 'quitely' launched by Nvidia, which could not even compete with the 9xxx series.
But those were REBRANDED, INTEGRATED cards.
