    Tomorrow!

    I'm 14, and I'm a very tired boy. What with sports and school and... everything else. Sometimes, I wonder where I get this energy from.

    P.S: I'm not boasting about my livelihood. Not even close.

    @Ambar: I don't mean it that way. I'm sure others will come and keep posting. Last i remember, this forum got wiped and chip.in got merged with it. Give the place some time lol.

    @Archer: Yes. It is time.

    I'm atleast six months away from actually building it, so maybe another day.

    Is there a thread for general hardware discussions? I can't find it ._.

    Hit & run posters are a pain, but sadly inevitable.

    We do have existing discussion threads that you folks can make use of: (as in, Chip did)

    The great processor and chipset discussion thread
    The great graphic card discussion thread

    Consider using above. I can split & merge into either of the above or the new one, your pick.

    A general hardware discussion thread is always a good idea, considering that this forum doesn't have subsections for different components

    I think a new thread should be started and these closed.

    Note that the thread would be for discussion, and not troubleshooting and assistance. New product launches, reviews (both official and user reviews), discussions on the technology involved etc can be done there. We could also post model rigs (general specs where possible, and no specific brands unless necessary) of different price bands.

    The reason I suggest a closure (or dont close them if you dont want to, but keep the general thread separate), is because the general thread would cater to all (except software) things PC, not just CPUs and GPUs.

    Just my 2 cents (or 1 rupee lol)

    I kinda like that idea.

    Why don't you go ahead and create the thread, EG? We could ask Sathya to sticky it.
