    Lightbulb need a new gaming pc including monitor

    Hi all, Here's the list

    1. What is your MAX budget? -- 30-38k
    2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why? -- Yes why not?
    3. What is the purpose of the computer? (Note: If you are planning to say multimedia, you will have to be more specific as all types of systems are capable of doing that) --GAMING, Multitasking to a high extent
    4. Planning to overclock? -- Not sure about this, but open to try
    5. Which OS are you planning to use? -- Win 7
    6. How much hard drive space is needed? -- 1 TB
    7. What resolution will the screen run at? -- HD preferably
    8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest) -- 7
    9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler? -- would be done by an assembler
    10. When are you planning to buy the system? -- Next 7 days
    11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations? -- YES
    12. Are there going to be any components that you don't want to include in this new rig? If yes, do mention. -- Planning to build from scratch, would require everything end to end.
    13. Which city do you live in and are you open to buying from shops from other city/states? --mysore and NO
    14. Mention any other points if deemed necessary
    --PLEASE SUGGEST A GOOD MONITOR ALSO
    -- Its very HOT down here, case with good cooling features would really help.
    --neednt be future proof for very long

    Gigabye GA-H61M-DS2 3.2k
    Corsair Value RAM 4GB 1.3k
    MSI N560GTX 10.6k
    BenQ G2222HDAL 8.5k
    Cooler master Elite 431 3.4k
    Seasonic S12II 520W 3.7k
    Samsung/Sony/LG DVD writer 1k
    Total:38.3k(no idea on the speakers )
    (all prices are from smcinternational.in excpet motherboard and SMPS)

    If my calculations are right , it should be enough.
    When OP said multi-tasking he didn't mention with which apps he will multitask.If he will open photoshop,dreamweaver while doing some folding at home, I think we will need something more powerful.If he means regular stuff like word with photoshop and multiple windows open(for browsing files) along with surfing the web and downloading , the i3 should be enough.

    suppose i neeed only the mobo,cpu,gpu and psu for around 25k,ANY SUGGESTIONS? i could just upgrade bcoz monitor is still usable

    How about an AMD alternative -
    AMD FX4100 - 6.6k AMD FX4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz
    Biostar A880GZ - 3.4k Biostar A880GZ
    Prices from smcinternational.in and flipkart. However, I'm not sure about the motherboard so do correct me if I'm wrong.
    @OP
    Basing on what I've googled -
    You can choose the AMD alternative for better multitasking/CPU heavy processes if you're ready to sacrifice your gaming performance to some(however noticeable) extent, otherwise Intel (proccesor+mobo which GTX OC mentioned) is the way to go.
