    Problem with graphics card

    Hello friends,
    I bought HP dv6 6154tx laptop before 5 months
    config:
    intel core i5 2430M
    ati radeon hd 6490M (GDDR5)
    740 gb hdd
    4gb ram (DDR3)

I was playing some graphics hungry games and they were running fluently
but problem starts arising from last month
I use catalyst control center to switch between on board and discrete graphics
after switching to discrete mode, sometimes games run smoothly and sometimes frame rate becomes too low to play game, really frustrating
    any solutions for this?
does the catalyst control center unable to switch properly?

Can you specify which game it is and which version of drivers are you running?
