Question HAF 912 Advanced vs CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3.0 Version)?

    HAF 912 Advanced : INR 7500
CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3.0 Version) : INR 6300
    Which chassis is more value-for-money?
Looks-wise, cooling-wise and size-wise I would prefer the 912 but I will also have to purchase a blue LED 200mm fan worth INR 1000 as my motheboard and RAM are black and blue.
What is the maximum length of graphic card supported by 912? My graphic card is about 272mm long. Will I have to remove the 3.5" HDD cage in the 912 to fit in my Graphic card?
Will that matter as I am planning to use a 2.5" SSD and a 3.5" HDD? Will there be no space to keep the HDD if remove that cage?
Sorry if my questions sound stupid but this is my first system.

For that budget, I'll suggest the NZXT Phantom 410. Costs around 6.2k and comes with three fans. Two USB 3.0 front panel ports are also there.Check out this review at Tomshardware here

Well, that seems like a good choice too but now I that I read about NZXT Phantom 410, I am even more confused:
NZXT Phantom 410 vs CM Storm Enforcer vs CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3.0 Version) vs HAF 912 Advanced
The 410 and 690 II have blue LED fans which is preferable.
However the HAF 912 is the smallest which is also preferable.

CM Storm Enforcer : INR 6750
Please suggest which one you would buy and why you would pick it over the others.

Re: HAF 912 Advanced vs CM 690 II Advanced (USB 3.0 Version)?

I evaluated HAF 912advanced, 690II Advanced and Corsair 400R. I could have evaluated NZXT if they letting me to keep it for 3-4 weeks but they can only give for 1 week, which is ridiculously impossible.

690II advanced- well... 6x HDD with a single 2.5" adapter. The front fan covers up 4 of those slots. If you see most of the newer cases with 6x HDD slots, they cover it up with 2x 140mm fan mounts and/or a single 200mm fan. Another most important part is the space between the back of the mobo tray and the right side panel. I had few trial and error with that on 690II Advanced. Other than that, its a solid case- but honestly there are better choices.

There are 2 versions of 912 advanced I believe. One with USB 3 re-route cable like this: 912 :: IMG_1649.jpg picture by HardwareBBQ - Photobucket
Second which uses a header. You'll need to make sure which one you're getting. If its a re-route cable, avoid. If its USB 3.0 header version? Go for it.

Another option is 400R. Best case you can get for that price as well. The L shaped Recessed area in the motherboard tray helps a lot to do cable management. One issue 400R has is that rear I/O plate is weak.

I didn't like Storm enforcer, especially after checking out HAF 912.

912 Advanced makes more sense if there's a USB 3.0 header version- or else its Corsair 400R. Just check the units before purchasing.

Theres absolutely no point in buying the HAF 912 for ₹ 7500. A word of advise since you are going all the way to ₹ 7500 ,spend another ₹ 300 to ₹ 500 and get yourself the NZXT Phantom,it is a Full tower it has USB 3.0,unmatched cooling (200mm X3 fans (2 on top one on side) alone out of total of 7 fans) superb cable management , built in fan controller !!! Fan LED on/off switch removable HDD cage, screwless HDD bays with rubber grommets and dual radiator water cooling support. It has huge space inside to fit any of the big GPUs in SLI and small details like rubber feets for the PSU...etcetc

Edit : Value for money for a full tower of course the NZXT Phantom.....for a mid tower it has to be the CM690II.

    Thanks for all the help.
Finally decided to go with NZXT Phantom 410 at INR 6250.
P.S. Acc. to flipkart.com, the NZXT Phantom does NOT have USB 3.0.
Also I can't buy a full tower as it won't fit on my desk.
