Isn't there any particular .exe that's causing this problem. Look for the filename when it gives you that error. It could help pinpoint the problem. Now, a stupid recommendation to avoid having to format and reinstall Windows. If possible, install a Linux distribution on your drive just to see if it gives you any similar issues. If it runs fine, you can be rest assured it's your Windows installation. You know what to do then!

What photo?
If you have a decent enough power supply, google out for memtest 86+. Follow the instructions and run it for 4-6 hours atleast. If it fails within that time frame, you have an issue.

@ cyberjunkie
thank you for the reply, and excuse me for my late reply
it doesn't show any error regarding any particualr .exe file, but when i attach the new DDR2 2GB Dynet RAM, the system always, -always-, asks for the Startup Repair.
I repaired it for 4-5 times and it worked for me. But now, it doesn't work at all.
After the startup repair, it shows an error in Blue screen, like " ERROR - STOP 0x000435(a random number here)", and tells me restart the system and it will work fine other wise tells me to remove the hardware(here RAM) and restart again.
The error(on blue screen after repair) keeps on changing after every startup repair, but the most occuring problem it shows is the above one.
i have also performed memtest+ for pass = 1. it did not show any error.
please suggest me something. my cousin gave me this RAM, i had given him my Transcend DDR2 1GB RAM to compare it with the new one which he was going to buy for me.
@ The Sorcerer
thanks a lot for the reply, and i apologize for my late reply
i have performed memtest 86+ on my machine for pass=1 and it took one hour.
It did not show me any error and said that it's all fine.
Do i need to perform the memtest for more number of times? Does it make any difference?
If yes then please tell me the number of times i should perform this test.
And the photo...
I had tried to take snaps of my machine using CPU-Z.
But while posting this thread i could not attach the image i had created.
Can you tell me how to attach the image?
it needs a URL for the image, but the image is residing on my hard drive ? what do i do? how do i attach without a URL?
Thanks again,
Pranav
Thank you,
Pranav

Re: PC doesn't boot....RAM problem....please Help?
the speed of my 1st 1Gb RAM is 333Mhz.
I'm not sure about the speed of my other 2Gb RAM, but i had told the shop person to give me of speed 333Mhz only.
More over there is nothing written on the RAM except the name "Dynet".
Do i need to overcolck or underclock my RAM? if yes then how?
i have attached the photo
Thank you

Typically, mixing up RAM from different brands is a bad idea. If there are no issues showing up on Memtest after running it for a few hours, then the modules are fine. Try running a different operating system just to be sure it's not a messed up Windows installation.

yes, now even i think mixing up diff brands was bad idea.
I will try to run Memtest for several hours and see what happens and then will post here.
I don't think my Windows is corrupted 'cause everything else works fine and also there is not much space in my PC
that i can install another OS.
But i will surely perform Memtest at least 3 times for being on safe side.
Thank you cyberjunkie,

Find out the speed and latencies of both the RAM modules. If they are different, use the manual memory speed and timings settings in the BIOS to configure them to run at the same speed and timings. If one module is faster, under-clock it. If one module has a faster timing, reduce it. Also, check whether they are running in the rated voltage range. Did you try running them both in Single as well as Dual channel?
Check if your PC runs error-free with only the new module installed. BIOS update might also work. Rule out all the possibilities and you might arrive at a solution.
It's best to use matched pairs to avoid conflicts. Going in for two different brands and two different capacities isn't a good idea.

Thank you anand for the reply,
i have checked the voltage of both the RAMs, its 1.8v.
And i have made a mistake buying memory of another brand :P i admit.
what combinations i tried and what problems i got :
1. Only old 1Gb RAM - PC works fine(of course slow due to only 1gig)
2. Only Dynet new RAM in primary slot - PC doesn't show video at all !! Monitor is blank through out.
3. Both RAMs with Dynet in Primary slot - same prob as above(2nd one)
4. Both RAMs with Transcend old RAM in Primary slot - PC boots, with startup repair everytime i need to perform, and ending up removing new RAM coz problem won't solve :/
What do i do?
Thank you,
Pranav
