Android App development?

Anybody into Android App development? i was just trying to get my hands dirty with androd app dev and had a few questions - what sites do you guys suggest i visit, what kind of UI design tools should i use? Any ideas?

Google's Android Developer Site gives you pretty much all that you want. Plus search through Stack Overflow. Are you looking at design tools for prototyping or for building the application?

If it's the latter, you'll have to roll out hand made XML. Eclipse recently brought in a layout editor but it's far from perfect.

Also consider Commonwares' Books. They are pretty good.
