Have you read the CHIP magazine (April 2012) issue? They have given some great insights on Windows 8.

To be frank Windows-8 sucks....i installed it and use for no more than 30 mins.....actually it was designed for touch based systems.....if u want to install it minimum requirements will be 1gb ram,10gb hardisk space...

It is designed for all common platforms. But i used the RC version in virtual box.. Its difficult to use and operate on windows 8..Its a totally new interface. Tile format desktop. A new comer has to first take a tour then only can use it properly. It worked on this config: intel core 2 duo p8600, 512 mb ati raedon, 4 gb ram. It might also work in minimum of 1 gb ram and graphics.

We can't say about its features unless and until we have used it for quite a few days and also explore its features. We will have to wait til octobet till its get released and then only we can say anything.

^^ We've already been using the consumer preview and the release preview for quite some months now. If the final version of windows 8 is going to be anything like the previews, then I am sticking to my precious Win7 Pro...

Well. Windows 8 isn't out YET, but it'll come out soon.
Basically, whatever runs Windows 7, can run Windows 8.
