Zenith Introduces iMac-style PC

Zenith has introduced its SmartStyle PC in India.

This desktop is modeled on the iMac and offers an integrated unit with a 17-inch display. The CPU/MB are embedded within the monitor chassis. The SmartStyle PC also offers options of an Intel dual-core processor, 1 GB of system memory and 80 GB of storage.


Since it's an integrated device, the SmartStyle PC can be hung from a wall or used a typical desktop. Apart from this, it also offers a TV Tuner card.

The SmartStyle PC is available in India for a price of Rs. 20,000.

Can you tell me from when will this product be available in market? I am planning to replace my existing desktops with this one and service support is my ultimate criteria so can you guys help me out with a feedback regarding service support of zenith.

It's ugly yes, but it's what is more apt in homes of many indians -- I think those new to PC's should opt for this thing. All they need to do is advertise it well..
You people are being nuts comparing it to Apple's dolts which cost you around thrice this much...

It don't look half as good as the iMac even though its smaller cause its twice as thick, the screen is smaller and the colours and stuff is all wrong, plus windows sucks compared to mac (my opinion) so all in all, the iMac is still way better.

An iMac or any Apple machine for instance is not just about sleek designs. Apple's "functionality, user-interface & stability" is what matters to its users.

Zenith should really pump in a good amount of money to develop a better OS that does not catch cold, fever, . . . (That goes to all biggies in Indian market) Your users would praise you for that.
