Need for Speed Series to be Discontinued?

All right don’t go sobbing to your mom, since we haven’t received any official confirmation about this yet, but it seems Electronic Arts is considering axing the Need for Speed series for good.
According to The Electronic Playground EA has canceled all NFS games in production after the debacle that was Need for Speed Undercover. And it’s not just Undercover. Even since Most Wanted this series has been going downhill. I think Undercover just broke the camel’s back.
Either way we’ll keep you updated as and when we hear any sort of official announcement from EA.

quite dissapointing.
too bad. I've loved the NFS series since Need for speed III: Hot pursuit.
Even since then, i've been pirating every game that's come out. I remeber my favorite to date would be NFS carbon.
Second favorite would be undercover. I say this because it takes too damn long to load the road. whenever ur going really fast, the shitty programming makes it so you freeze, load the road (at a turn which u smash into) and then smash into the wall.
Hell, what racing games should i pirate if they discontinue?!? I'll have to pirate crappy non fun games like burnout or grid (they both suck)

They have 2 options........drop it or make it better.
Put into it d fact of moderate gameplay time(as in MW n not as in UG2), good graphics(to more of realistic), n a good story and they could bring it back up.
The worst i've seen is prostreet.
I'm not criticising it entirely. NFS series was xtremely good till MW.
I do hope they'd bring it back up with a good bang

What EA needs to do is to abandon this STUPID obsession over tuner cars -- who wants bikini clad girls and a shit story
we need a new Need for Speed High Stakes!!! No fking cheap ass cutscenes -- just FERRARI -- PORSCHE -- LAMBOS -- EXOTIC LOCALES AND DAMN GOOD GAMEPLAY -- EA SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THIS SHIT "TUNING" CRAP AFTER MOST WANTED!!!!
SAD THAT EA WILL NEVER LISTEN TO OUR COMMENTS!
