Sci-Fi Channel to Work on MMO-TV Hybrid
By: Nikhil Singh   |   Jun 15, 2008

With the MMO industry growing exponentially, and TV shows based on games being relatively less explored, Sci-Fi channel have teamed up with Trion World Network to create an MMO as well as a TV show based on it, that will move along hand-in-hand. The president of Sci-Fi channel, Dave Howe, said that it would be the ‘Holy-Grail’ of such ventures. There are no more details out yet, but the territory seems unexplored and the outcome might be interesting at least, if not successful.

Joystiq’s Jeff Engel has a pretty informative write-up on it that you should definitely check out. We’ll keep you posted as and when we hear more about this unique venture.
