Sharp announced the introduction of its 108-inch Information Display, the world’s largest LCD screen, at a press meet today. This unit is targeted at the installation and office market, though hardcore fanatics might want to read on.
The unit features a widescreen 108-inch Advanced Super View LCD panel with Sharp’s anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR) technology. This full HD display has a response time of 6ms, native contrast of 1200:1, and brightness of 400 cd/m².
Sharp's Information Display range comprises full HD 46-inch, 52-inch, and 65-inch models designed specifically for 24x7 applications. The total cost is – hold your breath – Rs 97 lakh!
