This is probably the closet thing to the iPhone you can get right now that also incorporates multi-touch capabilities. The multiple desktops are also quite handy. For a quick recap here’s a list of the features -

For those of you who are smitten and interested in purchasing this device, it’s priced quite reasonably at Rs. 24,990, which makes yours truly like it even more.

In any touchscreen phone the "Receive Button" & "On/Off" or "Disconnect" button should be positioned on the uppper edge of the phone instead of lower edge. These switches are very inconveniently placed in touchscreen phones. Because while a holding a phone, the holders thumb always remains towards the upper side of the phone. So it becomes more convenient to handle the phone while receiving or disconnecting a phone call if.

What about the apps? Will it get decent apps?

I hope mobile phone manufacturers realize this: Software will sell hardware.

iPhone is the standing example of this - the phone's features are very average compared to some other smartphones, but the app store is the most appealing part of the iPhone - it is currently unmatched. That is why it is selling more than any other smartphone out there - and I am not talking about India.
