Nokia To Release More High-End Models
By: Shayne Rana   |   May 11, 2007

Nokia is going all out as we heard rumors that they are ready to release two more high end phones that just might give the N95 a run for it’s money in terms of popularity. That phones in question are called the N81 and the N82. They may not be as power packed as the N95 but they will be loaded enough to at least please the hearts of the folks who may not be able to afford the N95. Lets hope so.

The N81 is a quad-band slider and is supposed to have 8GB of flash memory. It’s designed for N-Gage style gaming and will be running on Symbian Series 60 third edition OS. It’s fully equipped for connectivity with EDGE, HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0 that also has A2DP support. One more thing, it’s also equipped with Wi-Fi support. So the specs are looking good, and to add to them, the N81 also comes with a 2-megapixel camera and a second camera for video calling. It’s supposed to be a follow up to the N91 slider.

Second on the list is the N82 that’s a follow up the popular N73 candybar design. It’s a quad-band GSM phone that’s also fully loaded with HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP compatibility, Wi-Fi, GPS a TV out (like the N95) FM radio and microSD support for external memory and at least 1Gb of internal space.. The N82 also has 2 cameras a VGA camera in front for video calling and a 5-megapixel auto focus camera on the rear with a Carl Zeiss lens that even has a xenon flash. The N82 also runs on Series 60 3rd edition, feature pack 1 OS.

Both phones are set for launch sometime in the fourth quarter of 2007 but prices have unfortunately not yet been disclosed.
