It has been barely a week, since the launch of Xbox 360 Live Service—that allows you to download or rent TV shows and Movies—and the service is facing problems already. The response the service got was tremendous, with many users that accessed it to download their High-Definition content. Due to this, the traffic increased, making the service erratic (most new internet services face the same issues). While some users couldn’t download their content due to this, most of those who could either spent many hours downloading, or would get charged twice in error.
Microsoft is supposedly working around the clock to get the service up and "running as seamlessly as you have come to expect"; which means that they’ll probably just increase the number of their download servers, along with their bandwidth.
