Rockstar's Next To Include Paddles & Balls

29 Mar, 2006, 9:21 am IST | Avinash Bali | Console

For all those wondering which über-controversial game Rockstar is working on, it may come as a surprise (shock actually) that the designer infamous is working on a Ping Pong (or table tennis) game for next generation consoles. You won't be able to bludgeon your opponents with a paddle, nor will you be able to make the referee choke on your ball, but you will be able to indulge in some legit pong action with a ton of virtual sweat thrown in for good measure. According to Rockstar, they would like to stray away from guns, violence and hookers for a while, to come up with some wholesome family entertainment. 'Rockstar Presents Table Tennis' (temporary name for the game) will be developed by Rockstar San Diego and will be an Xbox 360 exclusive as it is only on this console's hardware can their vision become a reality. The game is to hit stores by the 22nd of May 2006. pong2_t.jpg pong_t.jpg
