As the name suggests, a tank is a large, burly guy that pisses off all the bad little things that a party encounters and ensures that they focus their attention on him. His aim is to absorb as much damage from enemies as possible, ensuring that his team stays out of harm’s way. A tank’s role is vital and irreplaceable, since without him his puny party members are sure to perish.
Playing a tank gives you a feeling of empowerment since you’ll always be in the heat of action, and your actions will play an important part in your party’s success. If you like being the stalwart guy that defends others, this role will definitely suit you.
