Apple Store Launches at Inorbit, Mumbai

Apple is making its presence felt at Inorbit mall, Malad, after RSG Retails launched its second exclusive Apple store in Mumbai, ‘Imagine’, this week. The store, already has a predecessor at Atria mall, Mumbai, which houses the entire catalog of Apple products, including accessories. Rupesh Pandey, Managing Director, RSG Retails said that the store will be a hub for digital awareness—with workshops for housewives, children and students—slated to begin soon. Also, the concept of iLife will be incorporated in the awareness campaign, which will allow visitors to 'experience' Apple products such as iphoto, iTunes, iMovie, iDVD, Garage Band and iWeb. He added, "There is a significant increase in demand for digital devices and this has brought about a need to manage, organize and share media content in a better manner. The Mac as a digital hub is able to integrate all photo, video and music files with the iLife applications, and most importantly, these applications work seamlessly with each other." The Imagine store at Inorbit also has a built in seminar room for customers to attend basic or advanced Mac OS X training and iLife workshops. Pandey said that the store does plan to expand within Mumbai as well as in malls in other cities, but will announce them once the plans are finalized. |
