AT&T Announces iPhone 3G Pricing

So its finally out! The pricing of the new iPhone 3G, from the AT&T stable. This is most likely to bring in to effect an indication of the grey market prices of these handsets here in India. The deal is that the phones will be released for $199 and $299 for the 8GB and the 16 GB models respectively. What will come as a blow, perhaps, is the fact that the old iPhone users will pay more than we comprehended if they wish to upgrade — $399 for the 8GB iPhone 3G and $499 for the 16GB model with a new 2-year agreement, the term of which is applicable for first time buyers also. According to Engadget, a new no-commitment version of the phone will also be made available for $599 for the 8GB model and $699 for the 16GB model, which is way more if you don't opt for the 2-year agreement. |
