BenQ Releases New LCD TV Model Globally

Having a TV tuner is the new in thing these days for 24-inch monitors, thus BenQ is capitalizing. Not yet in India, though Taiwan sees BenQ's latest addition to their LCD TV family – MK2442, a multifunctional model that can be both a PC monitor or LCD TV.

The debut of 23.6-inch MK2442, which could double as a large-sized monitor for PC users, has 5 ms response time and Full HD 1920x1080. There is the Senseye Human Vision Technology – a proprietary image enhancement engine Other features are Auto Contrast Enhancement of 10,000:1, HDMI 1.3 interface. The model will be first available on August 20 onwards in major European countries including Germany, Spain, Italy, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland and Russia. We spoke to BenQ India, but that yielded no concrete info on its India release.
