Cowon has introduced three new products at the IFA 2008 at Berlin. The three new products are the S9, O2 and the L3. We have already covered the S9, which is an MPEG-4 player, and has people going gaga over the curvaceous design. You can read about it here. Amongst the other two, we have the O2, with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, to be available in three capacities - 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. Like most Cowon products it's supposed to play everything like Divx 3.11/4/5/6, XviD, MPEG-4 SP/ASP, WMV 7/8/9, H.264, Motion JPEG and MPEG1. Audio formats include MPEG1 Layer 1/2/3, WMA, AC3, AAC, Flag, Ogg Vorbis, Ogg FLAC, Apple Lossless, True Audio, Monkey Audio, MusePack, WavPack, G.726 and PCM. The L3 is the one that takes the cake with a 7-inch touchscreen and guess what, it will also include a GPS receiver and navigation software. Pricing is not out yet, but keep checking with us. |
