Fly Launches GSM/CDMA Dual SIM Handset

Fly mobiles have just launched a new dual SIM handset, the DS440 in India. The new handset is compatible with GSM and CDMA preferences and should make things a whole lot easier for those who are burdened with toting around two handsets all the time.

Prem Kumar, CEO Meridian Mobiles says, “It’s a multimedia powerhouse in a crux. We have always been proud to offer consumers world class brand-name technologies and products at affordable prices. Seeing the excellent response to the various models of single SIM phones launched earlier, we decided to move a step ahead in the contemporary techie chase”


The other features the slim (11.5mm) DS440 dual SIM handset comes equipped with are -
  • EDGE/GPRS connectivity
  • Bluetooth, USB 2.0
  • FM radio
  • 2 megapixel camera (video rcording)
  • microSD card support (up to 4GB)
“It’s the only product with Data download capability in GSM as well as CDMA. It has higher functionality and serves as a future rich mobile phone. We are committed to cater communication needs for masses by offering mobile phones with simple & better technology at attaractive price points and will be announcing more such products in the near future” said Anil Kaushik, Exec.VP, fly mobile.

The Fly DS440 is priced at Rs.7990.
